Werner Baer, vice president of information technology at PPG Industries, has been named a Computerworld magazine 2015 Premier 100 IT Leader. 

The award honors individuals who positively impact their organization through technology. Baer was selected from hundreds of nominations submitted by companies and organizations in the U.S. Award winners are chosen based on a variety of criteria and manage internal IT organizations, mentor and motivate their IT teams with interesting challenges, envision innovative solutions to business problems, and effectively manage and execute IT strategies.

Baer will be honored at Computerworld’s upcoming annual AGENDA Conference in Florida.
